Volunteers Needed

Our kids need YOU! Bellview PTA has an open positions that need to be filled as soon as possible:

Treasurer: Our treasurer is moving out of state and we need a new treasurer immediately. Treasurer is an executive office that will you a great opportunity to learn how PTA functions without having to organize a major event. Most of the duties of the Treasurer can be done from home.

School Zone Reminder

Attention Parents of Car Riders:

Please display your sign, with your child's name, in your windshield during pick up in the car rider line. While signs are available in the office, any piece of paper will do.

Arkansas State Law prohibits the use of handheld cell phones in school zones and highway work zones. This law took effect on October 1, 2011.

Additionally, this law prohibits:

All drivers from text messaging.
Driver under 18 from all cell phone usage, regardless of whether a hands-free accessory is employed.
Drivers 18-20 must use hands-free attachments if talking on cell phones.
School bus operators are prohibited from using cell phones while driving.

As a reminder, the car-rider line is within a school zone. We appreciate your cooperation as we all take this step to ensure a safer environment for our children. To view the law in its entirety, please click here.

To earn Box Tops points for Bellview while you shop online, sign up with the marketplace website and declare Bellview as your school of choice. Then, shop online and save your items to your cart. Before you purchase your items, open up marketplace website in another window and select your store. Your items will still be in your cart ready to purchase. (See flyer)

Tyson Project A+

If you eat Tyson products, you can help Bellview earn money!

Bellview PTA is participating in a national fund-raising program sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. The program is called Tyson Project A+™ , and it works like this:

Look for various Tyson products labeled with the Tyson Project A+™ logo shown in the image in this article. Clip the label (not the bar code) and return it to the collection site in the school's foyer. Each label is worth 24¢!
